Tailor Research was founded in 2007 with the mission to provide insights for the investment community, born by their own questions.
In 2009, Founder George Schmilinsky was introduced to maverick Lukas Biewald by Venture Capitalist Michael Dearing. This chance meeting transformed the company from conducting surveys using traditional methods, to employing crowdsourcing techniques.
In 2013, Tailor Research was acquired by Penserra Securities, to add to their research capabilities.
In 2019, founders pivoted the company from Penserra Securities in order to provide research to other industries. Since, Tailor Research is burgeoning in every direction.
Today, Tailor Research has some of the largest companies in the world as clients. Not only does the company serve every industry, but also serves other market research firms.

Where We Fit In
Less expensive companies do not conduct true simple or stratified random sampling unless asked and for a large price. Panels are simply not built to do that normally.; They also only offer survey design, programming and QA services at steep premiums. Also, many panelists game the system by registering multiple profiles. Lastly, digital surveys do not allow for clarification during the survey process.
